Welcome to our first blog of 2024!
Let's first take a look back at the highlights of 2023 before we peek into the exciting prospects that await us in the years ahead.
CREATOR OWNED
As we enter 2024, let's reflect on 2023. While Free Fall Comics didn't release any new major publications, significant strides were made within the company. A noteworthy highlight is our venture into publishing Creator Owned projects. You might have caught a glimpse of two such projects: 'Gunpowder' created by Damian Hussey and 'The Darkest Shade' created by RJ Redl and Kim Sheil . These titles represent uncharted territory for us; 'Gunpowder' is a post-apocalyptic action series, while 'The Darkest Shade' delves into the realms of cosmic horror. Both of these projects we are very proud of and we beleive they could be award winning.

Additionally, we've recently green lit a third Creator Owned series, an Erotic Thriller named 'Ashes To Secrets' While we can't reveal too much about this project just yet, what we can share is that it promises to tug at your heartstrings. Notably, this book will be brought to life by an all-female team of artists—an achievement we're immensely proud of. 'Ashes To Secrets' is written by newcomer Robbie Phillips and Co-written by RJ Redl (the creator behind 'The Darkest Shade').
The amazing all female team of artists involves Elena Ominetti (Illustrator/Inker), Kimberly Brum (Colour Artist) and Jo Lensink who is currently being trained to letter this project.

FREE FALL COMICS ORIGINALS
With so much exciting content in production, you might think we're ready to take a breather. But hold on, because we're just getting started! Roundhouse Hooligans Issue #3 is nearing completion despite some minor setbacks—we're diligently working through them. Moreover, 2024 holds something exceptional in store: a dream project featuring the award-winning artist, Wilton Santos. 'The Other Side Of Justice' is back in production after a long hiatus; this series promises to astonish and leave you utterly speechless.

But wait, there's more!
For the first time ever, Free Fall Comics is venturing into a new territory. We're developing a kid-friendly fantasy series titled 'Beyond Imagination.' Handpicked artists, whose talent will astound you, are already on board. While 'Beyond Imagination' will be available through the Free Fall Comics platform, we're also creating a separate entity dedicated to kid-friendly comics and stories that we believe is a huge game changer for the company.
As we look ahead, 2024 shapes up to be a monumental year for Free Fall Comics. Alongside these thrilling projects, we're expanding our reach through more podcast and YouTube content—immersing you further into the world of comics.
