A strong start to what looks like to be a brilliant series

From the opening pages of the darkest shade The story glistens with potential and a wisdom of its characters and narrative. The simple dialogue along with the imagery tell the story of a sweet family that is on the verge of despair and peril in a casual and simplistic way. simple being the term to describe genius when we see it. The art is very good and suits the story perfectly and I find my heart warming to the characters in these first few introductory pages. I cant wait to read the rest of it.
